MARFA – Student athlete Andrew Ontiveroz of Marfa has been named honorable mention on the Class A Texas all-state football team picked by Texas Sportswriter’s Association.

Lady Horns open softball season today

MARFA, PRESIDIO – The Marfa Lady Shorthorn begin the 2012 softball season with a game against the Presidio Blue Devils at 4pm today in Presidio.
Team Marfa will also compete in the Crane Lady Bird Tournament Friday and Saturday. Friday’s game times are at 8:30am and 2:30pm.
Saturday’s games are at 9am, 1:30pm, and 4:30pm.
